I have to admit… I was a little anxious about sitting down to do this. The first week of Project Life. I missed a couple days of photos over the weekend b/c I was so busy finishing up my photo-a-day album from 2011 and I didn’t know what I was going to fill those spots with. Turns out it worked just fine. I had Cate’s spelling test, which she was so proud of and wanted to keep. And to fill in the last Sunday, I found a photo online of the football game we watched on Sunday and printed that out. Yay! All the slots filled up! I used some these brushes by Ali Edwards for the days of the week on the photos. Nothing else too exciting. I think I’m going to keep it pretty streamlined and simple. If I’m digging through my stash each week to find lots of bits and pieces to add, I think it will just stress me out. Instead I’ll add things digitally as I am printing my photos. Easy. At least that’s my plan for the moment!
It’s hard to get good pics of these with the page protectors and all. Hopefully these are clear enough!

Oh, I love the detail photos and the brushes! I was nervous to for my first week…still not totally flowing.
AWESOME! I’ve been doing a kind-of-sort-of Project Life/Project 365. I’ve taken pictures each day and did a little journaling for each photo, but I still haven’t quite decided on the system I want to do. I love the Project Life binders and cards, but I keep thinking I have so much in my arsonal of stash that I should be able to come up with something!
Nicole, are you going to post a couple peeks of that PAD album? I’d love to see the format.
love it! I esp love how you cut a bigger photo into 3, that looks stunning!

I love it. Great start! I struggled a bit as I didn’t want to over complicate mine too much either, but did want to embellish a little. I think you really did a great job. Would you mind sharing where the little camera sticker is from on the title card, and also the Play & read, set, go stickers on the photo?? I love them! THanks.
Hi Megan,
Thanks! The little camera sticker is from one of the older October Afternoon sticker sheets. And the Play/read stickers on the pic are from Crate Paper.
