Roller Rink…a sneak peek

It’s perfect that the October kit at Studio Calico is called Roller Rink.  Why?  Because my family got to experience that fabulous scene just last month.  It was my kids’ first time on real roller skates and let’s just say they were pretty impressed that mom was “so good!” Little do they know that roller skating on Saturdays was a big thing back in the 80s…especially for Brownies outings.  ;)  If you ever are in Topsail Beach, NC…you must check out the roller rink there.  It’s tiny and ancient and just perfect family fun.  Now…on to my sneaks!

I got the Rainbow Kneesocks and Toe Stop add ons this month.  I loved them both and I think these pages are some of my favorites that I’ve done in a long time.  They aren’t complicated or technique-y or anything.  But they feel like me.  Does that make sense? :)

Have a great start to the week!
